Waxing by Nadia
My name is Nadia and I was born and raised in upstate, NY. At an early age, I was always fascinated by the beautification of the skin. After high school, I went and received my Esthetician license where I performed cosmetic skin treatments, such as facials, superficial chemical peels, body treatments, and waxing. I became very passionate about waxing and worked my way into one of the busiest locations in the world, Manhattan, NY.
For the past 9 years in Manhattan, I have treated over thousands of clients and was featured in the June 2015 issue of Cosmopolitan as well as Elite Daily and SugarPop.
My dream has always been to have my own waxing studio. I was blessed when the opportunity presented itself here on Long Island, NY! I opened up Waxing by Nadia located at 10 S. Park Avenue, Rockville Centre, NY on November 4th 2020!! I am beyond excited to help clients achieve their best skin and to give you your least painful wax!

Here are some things for you to know for your wax:
- Your hair MUST be the length of a grain of rice to be waxed. If your hair is shorter than that- it will just pull your hair and it won’t be from the root.
- Your hair grows in a 4 week pattern (everywhere but the underarm and any facial wax) once you pass that 4 week mark your hair will get on different growing patterns. Making your next wax not even and more sensitive. It is imperative to be consistent with your waxes if you want optimal results!
- Full body waxing should be done every 3-4 weeks.
- All facial and underarm waxes should be done every 2 weeks.
- Do not exfoliate 2-3 days before you come for your wax, no matter what part of the body you are getting serviced.
- Keep your skin moisturized to avoid your hair from breaking, causing ingrown hairs.
- I promise it is OKAY for you to get waxed during your time of the month. You might be a little more sensitive than usual but it's nothing a pain reliever can’t take care of.
- It is totally safe to get waxed while you are pregnant, no matter how far along you are.
- I’d rather have your hair too long than too short, so if you’re wondering if your hair is too long, it's not so don’t trim!
- If you are getting your underarms waxed, don’t wear deodorant the day of your appointment.
- Do not put lotion on your body the day of your wax.
- Exfoliate 2-3 times a week to avoid ingrowns. You want to wait 2-3 days after your wax to start exfoliating.
- Avoid any friction, pools/sauna, tanning/the beach or working out for 24 hours after your wax. You may feel sensitive and tender and do not want to irritate the area.
